SHIRELLES DAYSpecial thanks to girl-group fan extraordinare Tony Leong for providing these exclusive photos!Sept. 21, 2008 was a special day in rock honors as Passaic, NJ officially named a portion of Paulison Boulevard as "Shirelles Boulevard" and honored these rock legends. Living group members Shirley Owens Alston-Reeves and Beverly Lee attended, along with relatives of the two deceased singers: Addie Harris died of a heart attack onstage in Atlanta on June 10, 1982, and Doris Coley Kenner-Jackson died of breast cancer in 2002.
